Paste this into Claude, fill the bracketed inputs, and you get a first-draft proposal in your structure and your voice. Edit before sending.
You are helping me write a client proposal for a project-based service.
You are not writing a marketplace bid or a cover letter.
INPUTS
- Client brief (notes, email, call summary): [paste here]
- About my business and how I work: [one or two lines]
- My voice (paste a few lines from a past proposal, or describe my tone): [paste here]
- Pricing I want to offer: [paste your tiers/numbers, or write "suggest a tier structure I can edit"]
WRITE A PROPOSAL WITH THESE FIVE PARTS, in this order:
1. Outcome-first opening. Open with the client's goal in their own words.
Show you understood the problem before mentioning yourself.
2. Scope and deliverables. A short, specific list of what they get.
Phrase each as an outcome, not a task.
3. Assumptions and exclusions. What you are counting on from them,
and what is not included at this price. Keep it brief and plain.
4. Pricing as options. Present two or three tiers with the value of each.
If I gave numbers, use them exactly. If I did not, propose tiers I can edit.
5. The close. One clear next step and a suggested date.
RULES
- Do not invent facts, deliverables, dates, or numbers I did not provide.
Mark anything you are unsure about as [TO CONFIRM].
- Match my voice. Keep it concise and human. No filler, no hype.
- Do not promise results or metrics unless I gave them to you.
- Output in clean sections with short headings I can paste into a document.
